The beginning of the Healing Journey will start at Fred Meyers West at noon to Pioneer Park.

It is an ONE WAY WALK. If you can be dropped off at Fred Meyer’s that would be great, the parking is limited. We will be lead by Fairbanks Native Association and UAF Native Dancers.

Things are subject to change, so bear with us!

We will approximately start our presentations around 1:30-2:00 pm inside Pioneer Park.

Opening with a blessing of the children by Father Jim Falsey and closing prayer by Keeley Kaveolook with This Generations Ministries.

The youth have written their own speeches and will present on things that are tough issues in all of our lives today.

Inside of the Civic Center we will have silent and dollar auctions. We will sell our MGH shirts and earrings made by the kids.

There will be vendors with information on anything to do w children, abuse, awareness or education. You can rent a vendor table w us online.

There will be a picnic in the covered area out back, sponsored by Doyon, Ltd. Proceeds will go to the youth.

In the Parking lot, we will have fun activities with Alaska Jump and Play:

– Face, nail and hair painting

– Decorate your own cupcake table

– A cake walk

We are tentatively planning on everything lasting until 5-6:00 PM

Please come to join us to walk or bring your family and enjoy the great day, celebrating and supporting the children of Alaska!

Thank you from all of us. We sincerely appreciate all of you! Without each of you, we will not be able to make this dream come true. We hope by standing up and speaking we will bring awareness and change for a better life for ALL children. No child should ever be mistreated or abused in any way! Never.
